Fifteen hundred years ago Kahless gave the name DevnoH to Konruge "the Blood Iron", a weapons master. Konruge was the best weapons maker that Kahless had ever known, so as a matter of course Konruge became the personal weapons maker for Kahless.

Kahless also allowed Konruge to throw a special "throwing star" as the ritual start of any battle or competition—this "throwing star" is now the DevnoH Line Shield.

Even though DevnoHs are warriors and weapons makers, the House Lords have long lives—the average DevnoH lives to the age of 180 years. The "naked stars" watch and protect the House of DevnoH.

Because our family owes much to Kahless, at the death of a DevnoH, the "Death Shout" is followed by the name "Kahless." This honors Kahless and lets the "stars" know that a DevnoH warrior is on his way to Sto-vo-kor.

What does DevnoH mean

DevnoH means to judge and to lead or to lead and judge.

eptai of House DevnoH

The Epetai of House DevnoH is Lord Kruge also known as Admiral zantai-Kruge DevnoH of the Klingon Assault Group is currently on sabbatical at the monastery of QInlot and has named Lord Qor'toq also known as General Qor'toq zantai-DevnoH Marine Commandant as eptai of House DevnoH.

Members of House DevnoH

Family members list amongst the more prestigious and honorable of ranking Klingons. The sisters of Kruge now retired from battle, KoHla and valQIS. General Qor'toq zantai-DevnoH, commanding the Imperial Marines and heir to the DevnoH line. Colonel qensha sutai-DevnoH head of the Imperial Honor Guard.

House DevnoH Requirements

The DevnoH line is open to all Imperial Klingons. Joining the house is as simple as petitioning (writing a letter) to the house epetai or house proctor. Also the recommendation from a DevnoH member or the request of a superior officer is also another method of petitioning. Once contacted and having read the responsibilities and duties of the DevnoH line and upon agreement to uphold the honor of the house, acceptance is usually quick after that point.

LINE DUTIES:

Follow the guidelines below and bring glory to the Empire, House DevnoH and yourself.

Always protect the Empire from those not worthy to stand with Klingons.

Follow your warrior heart in every endeavor and attempt to accomplish what only others think or dream about.

Serve well the unit, ship, division or command you belong to with honor firmly placed in your heart and mind.

HOUSE RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities should be followed as much as possible to maintain the past, present and future of the line. As with every major house or line, one member is usually designated to keep track of the line members. This role is known as the House Proctor, who is in charge of keeping the records for the line. So long information gets to either the House Proctor or the Epetai, the line’s history and records are maintained. Here are the responsibilities:

Periodically, inform either the House Proctor or Line leader of your rank, present duty position and status so that the line may know of your well being and accomplishments.

Recruit those that are worthy of serving under the name of DevnoH and sponsor them for admission to the house.
